Smells Like Teen Spirit actually uses four (power/"5") chords, and not the C-F-G three chords seen with Louie and Wild Thing.
Not disputing your claim. Just sayin'.
Not knowing much about the science of music, I'll agree. On the other hand, for someone who spends a lot of time in the history and emotion of it, I just love how at least the feel of a song can show up in multiple places, sometimes where you least expect it.
Yeah, I second what James said... but damn! I see what you mean!
(Although, Boston - blows them all out of the water. I'm just sayin...)
